The Senior Director, ISC Operations – Building Automation (Americas) is a senior enterprise leader accountable for end-to-end operational performance supporting the Building Automation business across the Americas. 

This role leads manufacturing, supply chain, planning, logistics, and operational excellence to deliver safe, high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective solutions for customers. The role serves as a key partner and integrator between plant manufacturing teams and commercial organizations, translating customer demand, growth priorities, and project commitments into reliable operational execution. This leader drives results for customers by ensuring predictable delivery, rapid response, and scalable operations that support BA growth, margin expansion, and installed-base excellence.

ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Customer Partnership
  • Serve as the primary ISC partner to Building Automation commercial, sales, and project execution teams across the Americas.
  • Translate customer demand, project schedules, and growth commitments into executable manufacturing and supply chain plans.
  • Drive customer-focused outcomes including on-time delivery, responsiveness, lead-time reduction, and service reliability.
  • Lead ISC engagement on major customer programs, escalations, and recovery plans.
Americas BA Operations Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end ISC operations supporting Building Automation product lines across the Americas.
  • Ensure consistent, scalable execution across manufacturing plants, suppliers, and distribution networks.
  • Align regional operations strategy with BA business growth, market needs, and lifecycle requirements.
Manufacturing Excellence
  • Provide leadership over manufacturing operations including assembly, test, configuration, panel build, and systems integration.
  • Drive safety, quality, productivity, yield, and capacity optimization.
  • Lead footprint, capacity, and localization strategies.
SIOP, Planning & Materials
  • Own SIOP/IBP execution for Building Automation in the Americas.
  • Balance project-driven demand, make-to-stock requirements, and long-lead components.
  • Drive inventory optimization and supplier readiness.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Champion a zero-injury safety culture and ensure compliance with Honeywell standards.
  • Partner with Quality to ensure strong corrective action and continuous improvement.
  • Support customer audits and regulatory requirements.
Financial & Operational Results
  • Deliver operating plans aligned to revenue, margin, productivity, and working capital objectives.
  • Drive cost-out and value-engineering initiatives.
  • Own operating budgets and capital investment ROI.
Operational Excellence & Transformation
  • Lead deployment of Honeywell MOS and Operational Excellence.
  • Drive digitalization, automation, and analytics.
  • Lead change management for sustainable transformation.
Talent & Leadership
  • Build and develop a high-performing BA ISC leadership team.
  • Drive succession planning and leadership development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

•    15+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing and supply chain operations.
•    Proven experience leading multi-site operations in a customer-driven environment.
•    Strong background in Lean, MOS, and performance management.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S
 

WE VALUE

•    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.

•    MBA or Master’s degree.
•    Experience in Building Automation, Controls, Electronics, or Industrial Systems.
•    Experience supporting project-based or mixed-mode manufacturing environments.
•    Americas regional leadership experience.

Reporting Relationship
Reports to: Vice President, ISC Operations – Building Automation

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position is $207,000-258,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
