THE ROLE

We are seeking a Sr. Director, Head of Brand to lead Eventbrite’s brand strategy and execution across consumer and creator marketing. This highly visible leadership role will be responsible for elevating the Eventbrite brand, driving awareness and engagement among event creators and attendees, and ensuring our brand storytelling resonates across all touchpoints.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and creative brand marketer with experience leading high-impact brand campaigns, social media programs, and in-house creative teams. You will drive a unified brand vision, develop compelling campaigns, and ensure brand consistency across channels to strengthen Eventbrite’s market position and deepen emotional connections with our audiences.

THE CHALLENGE

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning: Develop and articulate a compelling brand strategy that differentiates Eventbrite, enhances its positioning, and aligns with business objectives.
  • Consumer & Creator Brand Campaigns: Lead the development of integrated brand campaigns that drive awareness, consideration, and preference among event creators and attendees.
  • Social Media Strategy and Execution: Oversee our social media strategy and execution, ensuring Eventbrite’s presence is engaging, on-brand, and aligned with audience interests across key social platforms and surfaces
  • Creative & Brand Storytelling: Lead Eventbrite’s in-house creative team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality creative assets that reflect the brand’s voice, tone, and visual identity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Marketing, Growth, PR/Communications, and other key stakeholders to ensure brand messaging is cohesive and effective across all channels.
  • Performance & Optimization: Establish and track KPIs for brand campaigns, social engagement, and creative initiatives to measure impact and refine strategies.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing brand marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and results.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 15+ years of experience in brand marketing, with a proven track record of leading impactful brand campaigns, social media programs, and creative teams.
  • Deep expertise in both consumer and B2B brand storytelling, preferably within a marketplace, tech, or media-driven organization.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams across brand strategy, social media, and creative functions.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to translate brand vision into measurable outcomes.
  • Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence key stakeholders, and drive alignment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a passion for storytelling and brand innovation.
  • Experience managing external agencies and partners to scale brand initiatives effectively.
