Who We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a strategic, senior growth leader responsible for architecting and accelerating full-funnel ecommerce growth for high-potential DTC brands, primarily in the CPG space. This role is for a hands-on, data-driven DTC operator who lives and breathes performance marketing and funnel optimization — and understands how all of it connects to revenue, margin, and customer LTV. If you obsess over funnels, dashboards, cohort analysis, and “why the hell did CVR drop last week,” this role is for you.

Job Summary:

This role is not just advising from the sidelines. They are deeply embedded in client businesses, translating insights into action, pressure-testing assumptions, and building scalable growth systems across paid media, onsite experience, lifecycle, and analytics. They serve as a strategic thought partner to founders and CMOs while also pushing internal teams to operate with rigor, speed, and experimentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Ecommerce Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Own the high-level ecommerce growth strategy for 3-5 of high-growth DTC brands, from acquisition through retention.

  • Build and continuously optimize full-funnel growth plans that connect paid media, onsite CRO, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and lifecycle marketing.

  • Identify revenue unlocks via landing pages, subscription programs, bundles and upsells strategies, etc.

Performance Marketing & Funnel Optimization

  • Partner closely with channel teams to ensure acquisition strategy aligns with on-site experience, conversion rates, and downstream profitability.

  • Diagnose funnel performance using GA4, Shopify, platform data, and internal dashboards — and turn insights into clear, prioritized actions.

  • Work with channel leadership testing roadmaps across creative, landing pages, offers, and site UX to systematically improve CAC, CVR, AOV, and LTV.

  • Partner with Lunar’s tech team to identify key opportunities to deploy Lunar’s proprietary tech solutions as a solution to performance challenges.

Data-Driven Optimization & Reporting

  • Lead analytics, attribution, and performance measurement to connect marketing outcomes to business goals.

  • Own performance insights and reporting frameworks that ensure data drives decision-making and strategic optimization.

  • Maintain and refine internal dashboards for tracking creative effectiveness, strategic insights, and campaign performance.

  • Develop agency-wide performance reports, highlighting industry trends and growth opportunities.

Client Leadership & Strategic Influence

  • Serve as the growth expert in client relationships, leading strategic conversations with founders, CMOs, and Heads of Growth.

  • Push clients beyond surface-level optimizations by challenging assumptions and grounding decisions in data.

  • Translate complex performance insights into clear narratives that drive confidence and buy-in.

  • Set the bar for ecommerce strategy excellence across the agency, mentoring and leveling up Client Strategy and performance teams.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in DTC ecommerce, growth, or performance marketing, ideally with CPG or subscription brands.

  • Deep, hands-on understanding of the DTC ecommerce stack (Shopify, GA4, Meta, Google, email/SMS, CRO tools, attribution platforms).

  • Proven track record of driving measurable growth across CAC, CVR, AOV, LTV, and revenue.

  • Obsessive comfort with data — you know how to pull it, interpret it, and argue with it.

  • Strong POV on what actually moves ecommerce performance vs. what just sounds good in decks.

  • Familiarity with subscriptions, bundles, loyalty programs, and retention-led growth models.

  • Strong instincts around merchandising, pricing strategy, and promo effectiveness.

  • Experience designing or interpreting incrementality tests, MMMs, or advanced attribution models.

  • Comfortable saying “this isn’t working” and backing it up with data.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Flexible work hours and remote work options.

  • Professional development and training opportunities.

  • Inclusive and supportive work environment that values creativity and innovation.

  • 401k with match
