The Senior Director of Digital Strategy and Insights has the responsibility for setting and evolving Magellan’s digital strategy in support of our consumers (members, customers, and providers). Will collaborate with leaders and partners across the organization to craft, socialize and drive alignment of the vision. Accountable for strategic frameworks, curating and developing digital insights, trends, and market research to provide thought leadership and direction. You will be a voice for the consumer and identify opportunities based on consumer and member needs and business objectives.

  • Develops the digital strategy and vision for Magellan’s consumers (members, employers, providers).
  • Develops digital strategies and points of view (POVs) to articulate strategic direction and areas of opportunities based on customer needs, market research, insights, and trends.
  • Develops customer journey maps to drive digital experiences and broader consumer experiences.
  • Defines the multi-year digital roadmap that maps the vision to the key experiences and capabilities needed to deliver on that vision; defining the critical path towards execution of the roadmap.
  • Responsible for curating, forming, and socializing digital insights, trends, and competitive intelligence – leveraging and collaborating key partners from marketing, consumer experience analytics, and product.
  • Partners with leaders and teams in the organization to understand the business needs and objectives as a primary input to the digital strategy.
  • Socializes the digital strategies, trends and insights to leaders and teams in the broader organization to drive buy in and awareness for the vision and support decision making.
  • Recruits, develops and retains digital strategy talent.

Other Job Requirements

Responsibilities

10+ years of experience in digital strategy.
4+ years of leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Management, Health Services Policy or Administration, or clinical studies.
Background in Digital Experience Management and Digital Transformation in healthcare.
Experience leading the development of large scale digital strategies.
Strong expertise in rapidly establishing strategies and frameworks to bring a vision and areas of opportunities to life for leadership and product teams.
Experience recruiting developing and managing digital strategy talent.

$127,295

Salary Maximum:

$229,105

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
