In close partnership with the executive leadership team, the Chief Commercial Officer - Industrial Solutions will be a cross functional leader with top line and gross margin ownership of all Alkegen Industrial sales channels. The Chief Commercial Officer - Industrial Solutions will be accountable to build and manage the commercial excellence strategy and operating rhythm within a robust sales organization that drives the

Alkegen value proposition with execution of sales targets through organic growth while building a sales organization adept at increasing customer market share and expanding into new markets. The role will report to the the President of the Industrial Solutions business.

Responsibilities:

- Drive the commercial excellence strategy and operating rhythm as a cross functional leader to support the organic growth of the business

- Be a hands-on, customer focused, commercial leader with the know-how needed to execute revenue and profit targets for the commercial team

- Align the sales organization for growth with recruiting, up-skilling, and developing an organizational structure as needed to build a best-in-class commercial sales organization

- Leverage contemporary sales tools to drive commercial performance and ensure sales targets align with financials

Qualifications/ Experience:

- 15+ years of experience leading an international sales organization with revenues >$500M, including integration of large acquisitions

- Operational experience leading technical product sales organizations with a long tail of customers

- Experience developing and leveraging contemporary sales management tools and processes to drive cross-sell opportunities, account management, inbound and outbound sales, and lead an inside sales organization

- Proven experience partnering with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Operations, to provide market insights, commercialize new products, and seamless handoffs to operations to drive customer success

Travel: 80 - 90%

Work Schedule:  

This role requires working in Dallas 2 weeks/month with the IS leadership team and the additional travel is on the road visiting customers and plants.
