The Role

Truven is seeking a skilled and passionate Sr. Director, Analytics, Research, & Solutions - Employer to serve as a strategic leader responsible for managing a book of business in support of our healthcare analytics and employer decision-making solutions. This role leads client delivery teams, collaborating closely with sales and product development to ensure we meet or exceed client expectations. If you’re excited about meaningful work, energized by big challenges, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves with a team that values rigor, integrity, and impact—we’d love to hear from you. 

How you will contribute: 

  • Serve as the analytics market leader for a large portfolio of employer clients, partnering closely with employer sales leadership to drive strategy, retention, and growth.  Ensure engagement, satisfaction, renewal, and profitability targets are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing team of healthcare analysts, consultants, and advisors. Set clear goals, provide strategic guidance, and foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.  

  • Act as a senior subject matter expert in healthcare analytics, with deep expertise in complex data strategies that support client business objectives.

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for client escalations and strategic discussions, ensuring timely resolution and alignment with client goals.

  • Collaborate across data operations, sales, marketing, product, and senior leadership to shape thought leadership, inform product development, and enhance the client experience.

  • Drive organizational change and business transformation initiatives focused on strengthening service delivery, elevating operational efficiencies, optimizing processes, improving team productivity, enabling globalization, and accelerating revenue growth.

About You 

You are a seasoned leader with a passion for transforming healthcare through data-driven insights and operational excellence. You bring a unique blend of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and people leadership to drive scalable, high-impact solutions across complex organizations. 

What you will bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MHA, or similar) preferred. 

  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, or employer-focused solutions, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles. 

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. 

  • Excellent understanding of healthcare data, employer decision-making processes, and analytics tools. 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels 

  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed for client engagements and team collaboration

Compensation

The salary range provided in this job posting is intended to reflect the general market value for the position. The actual salary offered may vary based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and the specific requirements of the role. This range may also be subject to change as market conditions evolve. We encourage open communication throughout the interview process to discuss compensation expectations. For base-salary + commission sales roles, the range represents On-Target Earnings.

Min – Max :

$196,000.00 - $294,000.00 (USD)
