Build high-quality React Native mobile UIs, integrate with native APIs, diagnose and fix bugs and performance issues, maintain code with automated tests, work with third-party dependencies, and help transition existing React web apps to React Native.
Responsibilities:
- Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.
- Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms.
- Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
- Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves fast and often breaks things.
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
- Transition existing React web apps to React Native.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as React Native Mobile Developer
- Good Experience in Monorepo React App development.
- Good Experience in either Native iOS or Android Platforms.
- Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
- Knowledge of programming
- Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code
- Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
- Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
- Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage
- Experience with automated testing suites
Compensation, Benefits and Duration
Minimum Compensation: USD 44,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 156,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
