About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer II to join our engineering team. This role requires a proven technical leader who can drive complex projects, mentor team members, and make significant contributions to our platform's architecture and infrastructure. This person should be a highly-technical, hands-on engineer, who loves to work with data plane services like Cassandra, ElasticSearch, and Kafka, MySQL, PostgreSQL and is comfortable building automation around large-scale Kubernetes installations. What You'll Do:
Technical Leadership & Architecture

Lead technical design and architecture decisions for major systems and infrastructure

Lead complex, multi-phase technical projects from conception to General Availability (GA)

Establish and track success metrics for major initiatives
Technical Excellence & Innovation

Implement and maintain best practices for Kubernetes Operator development

Drive adoption of emerging technologies and methodologies

What You’ll Need:

8+ years of software engineering experience
-
Proven track record of leading complex technical projects

Strong expertise in database technologies like Cassandra, Opensearch, Kafka, MySQL and PostgreSQL

Experience with large-scale distributed systems

Excellence in cross-functional communication

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $155,000 - $255,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
