Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain data environments and designs controls/pipelines for adding data.
2. Build, manage, and optimize processes for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a variety of sources. Ensure data is ready to meet analytical and operational needs.
3. Actively participates in identifying test cases and the review process to ensure test and development work adheres to standards and specifications; troubleshoot as necessary. Monitor and optimize the analytic performance of tools and process.
4. Partner with business users and advanced analytics teams to meet their data requirements and provide technical insight/input on how to best acquire, process, store and manage data. Enforce guidelines for data collection, integration and processes.
5. Maintain up to date knowledge on new tools and approaches to data delivery, sharing evolving best practices with department and analytics teams.
6. Develop rules, standards, procedures to ensure security, usability, consistency, and data integrity to meet enterprise data governance standards. Manage/coordinate enterprise wide initiatives for analytics and operational users.
7.May act as a resource to junior staff regarding technology/methodologies and standards.
Required Qualifications
Masters degree or equivalent (6-years)
Demonstrated ability with relevant programming/statistical tools (may include Python, SQL, AWS Data and Analytical Services and other tools).
Extensive experience with data storage techniques and file formats; experience monitoring and tracking data quality.
Extensive experience with ETL Processes.
Candidate must be a self-starter, open to on-the-job training and have desire to learn and drive process improvement.
Ability to work as an effective team member as well as an independent contributor.
