Job Summary
This role is based in the New York City office (Midtown Manhattan). In-person attendance is required 4 days per week. Responsible for working cross-functionally to collect data and develop models to determine trends utilizing a variety of data sources. Focused on the global client services team you will be working primarily with training and documentation activity data, support helpdesk data, and a variety of end-user information. Imports, cleans, transforms, and manipulates data to understand or make conclusions from it for decision-making purposes. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline and acts as resource for colleagues with less experience. We seek an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Sr. Data Analyst to help formalize our data gathering and analysis function within the Knowledge Management and Training (KMT) department. You will leverage your analytical skills, and program management best practices to deliver a range of business insights back to the team and wider FreeWheel audience. In this role you will work closely with Knowledge Management & Training leadership to understand our business and data analysis goals. You will work to identify needs, blockers, and create strategies to build and maintain KPI and metric dashboards. You will present your analyses to a range of internal audiences, and you will establish automated reports for self-service by other stakeholders. Responsibilities will also include maintaining processes for data hygiene and integrity. You will regularly interact with Knowledge Management associates, technical writers, trainers and support engineers, and you will regularly engage with management to suggest recommendations for improvement About our Team: The Knowledge Management and Training (KMT) team leverages product expertise and program management skills to drive and deliver best-in-class documentation and education focused on making client users experts using FreeWheel technology. Job Description
- Desired certifications / experience: Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics. Expert knowledge in Excel.
- Prepares and submits statistical reports, graphic illustrations of findings, and action plan recommendations to the KMT and Global Client Services teams.
- Utilizes a wide variety of technology and systems including Smartsheet, Confluence, Jira, Zendesk, and MS Office to prepare, host, and deploy reports and analysis.
- Works closely with manager to liaison with the Comcast Cyber Security team to manage standards and compliance with data on FreeWheel systems like our Learning Management System (LMS).
- Becomes closely involved with the data and reporting tools available via our 3rd party vendor systems including Readme.io for API documentation, Atlassian Confluence for user guides, Zendesk for support tickets and associated content, and Docebo as our Learning Management System.
- Understands and practices various statistical concepts, research data, standards and practices.
- Works directly with cross-functional teams and department leadership to create research presentations and summaries.
- Assists other FreeWheel associates with developing research and data analysis skills.
- Provides training to and acts as technical resource for team members.
- Participates in defining business intelligence requirements for projects and data requests.
- Follows best practices and established policies in business intelligence data analysis, maintenance, and data quality.
- Creates technical documentation to support and supplement data analysis processes established.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $79,594.35 - $119,391.53
Additional Range: This job can be performed in New York City with a Pay Range of $79,594.35 - $136,447.46
