This position is eligible to be fully remote in the US. Blue River Technology is based in Santa Clara, CA.


Summary

We announced our flagship autonomous tractor at the Consumer Electronics Show in January 2022 in collaboration with our parent company John Deere. As our vision for the autonomous farm takes shape, our team is looking to expand by adding a Sr Computer Vision Engineer to collaboratively build the product roadmap to bring autonomy to vehicles across agriculture. 

The team that you will be joining is key within Blue River Technology in providing a platform for autonomous systems development. You will be at the forefront of developing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms for autonomous large vehicles. The day-to-day tasks involve interdisciplinary teamwork, where software development meets systems engineering providing many opportunities to enhance skills in computer vision, robotics, and optimization.

Job Responsibilities

A combination, not necessarily all-inclusive, of the following:

  • Work on computer vision algorithms for autonomous multi-camera, multi-sensor systems, such as geometric calibration, visual odometry, visual SLAM, sensor fusion.
  • Design and validate these computer vision algorithms using C++ (primarily), CUDA and Python.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Master or PhD in EE or CS.
  • 3 or more years of industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and math skills.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Experience in multi-view geometry, geometric calibration, sensor fusion.
  • Experience programming in C++.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in image processing, computer vision and robotics.
  • Experience in signal processing techniques.
  • Experience in algorithm development and optimization.
  • Experience programming in CUDA.
  • Experience programming in Python.

The US annual base salary range for this position is $133,000 - $238,000, along with eligibility for Blue River’s bonus and benefit programs.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process. During the recruitment process, we may identify an alternative role or level to which you are more suited.
