As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional Agile team dedicated to delivering customer services and support applications for the Aerospace industry. Your primary responsibility will be to provide our products with a modern and secure cloud infrastructure. By improving our cloud infrastructure, we aim to achieve reduced IT operation costs, increased application availability and performance, increased deployment frequency, and reduced cyber risk.

This role can be based at our Detroit site or remotely across the US, with minimal travel as needed.

In this role you will:

  • Manage a modern and secure cloud infrastructure.
  • Design & implement cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage and network connectivity.
  • Maintain an automated pipeline to build, test, secure and deploy our infrastructure and applications. 
  • Partner with product owners to build a roadmap/backlog for cloud infrastructure
  • Partner with our application developers, cyber security architect, and solutions architect to ensure a successful DevSecOps approach. 
  • Ensure operational stability of our digital products through proactive monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
  • Stay current with industry trends and experiment with emerging technology.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR associate's degree with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 7 years of professional experience
  • A minimum 5 years of professional experience in Digital Technology

    A minimum 2 years of professional experience managing cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure

  • Experience with AWS.

  • Experience writing Infrastructure as Code.

  • Understanding of cloud security practices.

  • Understanding of computer networks and protocols.

  • Understanding of CI/CD environments.

  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure monitoring.

  • Working as part of a cross-functional Agile team.

  • Embracing continuous improvement.

  • Problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.

  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

The base pay range for this position is $93,000- $155,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on May 31, 2025.
