The Role:

You'll source and manage deals across two distinct categories: digital consumer products (apps & software licenses) and discounted physical consumer electronics (refurbished/renewed, open-box, liquidation). This is a hands-on sourcing role that leans heavily into new business development. The ideal candidate is someone who already speaks the language of these supply chains.

Must be U.S. based.

What You'll Do:

  • Sourcing & Category Management:
    • Research, identify, and onboard new brands / products / deals that you believe will be quality products that will excel throughout our network
    • Leverage your existing network and get scrappy to research, identify, and onboard new suppliers and manufacturers to expand Stack’s product portfolio
    • Own and manage the prospective merchant pipeline in Salesforce, progressing leads through the sales funnel from initial outreach to close
    • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, volume discounts, and favorable terms
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with our merchants, developing win-win business plans for both parties, and securing exclusive deals for Stack
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities
  • Performance Metrics:
    • Be held to revenue, net profit, and sales activity key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Track and analyze (KPIs) such as sales, profit, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction to measure category performance
    • Develop action plans to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities
    • Continuously monitor performance metrics and adjust product offerings as needed
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with internal teams (Publisher Account Management, Merchandising, Operations, CRM, and Content) to launch and promote the strongest products throughout our network
    • Leverage SalesForce, Looker, Google Analytics, and Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs), and other apps in your sales stack to get the deals done

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years sourcing, buying, or managing deals in refurbished/renewed electronics, liquidation, or open-box inventory (e.g., relationships with OEM refurb programs, ITAD/liquidation channels, or electronics distributors)
  • OR, 3+ years in digital product deals — SaaS/software licensing, app monetization partnerships, or membership/subscription products
  • Familiarity with daily-deal or flash-sale economics (margin structures, promo cadence, channel conflict)
  • Experience canvassing and conducting cold-outreach to new business prospects, including negotiations with director and above level contacts
  • Salesforce experience
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven track record in business consulting and selling / closing deals
  • Action-oriented, motivated and the previous results of demonstrated success
  • Ability to close 6-figure daily deal promotions
  • A proven hungry closer who loves a dynamic environment

Compensation:

Our overall compensation and rewards package includes base pay, bonus or commission, and a variety of benefits. Base pay is determined within a range that allows you the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.  The anticipated annualized salary range for this role is $115,300 - $156,000 (this range may be modified in the future based on changing market conditions).  Your initial base pay will be determined based on several factors, including demonstrated skills, relevant education or training, experience, qualifications, travel requirements, and job location.

Benefits + Perks:

As a company, we have a lot to offer for the right candidate:

  • Health Benefits: We offer medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term and long-term disability insurance.
  • 401K: Eligible on your first day of employment.
  • Super Flex Time: Run errands as needed, just get your stuff done.
  • Unlimited Vacation: Take time to unwind with unlimited PTO, plus an office closure between Christmas and New Year’s.
  • Generous Parental Leave Program: 12 weeks of paid pregnancy disability and baby bonding leave, as well as 4 weeks of paid paternity leave.
  • WFH Office: Home office stipend and internet dollars to set you up for success.
  • Events: Happy hours, team bonding budgets and culture events (even while remote!) and an annual company offsite.
