Sr Backend Data Engineer – Generative AI & AWS
Location: Malvern, PA or Charlotte, NC (must be onsite day one)
Length: 1+ year (likely to be extended multiple years)
Build and optimize backend systems and APIs using Python, Node.js, or Java/SpringBoot, while ensuring scalable, high‑performance architecture supported by CI/CD and modern DevOps practices.
Integrate and deploy Generative AI solutions (Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, etc.), including prompt engineering, fine‑tuning, and embedding models into enterprise workflows.
Develop cloud‑native services on AWS leveraging EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, Glue, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudFormation to support AI‑driven features.
Collaborate across engineering and data teams to deliver secure, compliant, well‑documented AI capabilities aligned with privacy, security, and ethical AI standards.
