The Job:   

As a Sr. Architect, you’ll be part of our corporate team working as a remote employee.  The Sr. Architect, Generation AI & Search will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced Generative AI systems and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of key search and retrieval techniques and Generative AI LLM prompt engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI architecture, a passion for innovation, and the ability to lead complex projects from concept to deployment.

You’ll get to:    

  • Design and develop scalable AI architectures that meet the needs of various applications and industries.

  • Lead the end-to-end development of Generative AI application, including data collection, indexing strategy, front end and backend development

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Generative AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.

  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Generative AI and search technologies and apply them to improve existing solutions.

  • Conduct research and experiments to explore new Generative AI techniques and methodologies.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for Generative AI application, index, frontend and backend applications.

  • Implement and optimize key search and retrieval algorithms to enhance data accessibility and usability.

  • Design and develop efficient indexing and querying mechanisms to support large-scale data retrieval.

  • Ensure adherence to the standards & practices to drive consistency, timeliness, quality, security and delivery of data in a cost-effective and timely fashion​

The Person:

  • Proven experience as an AI Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful AI projects.

  • Experience with search engines and information retrieval systems (e.g., Elasticsearch, Sinequa, Algolia, Azure AI Search) is highly desirable.

  • Generative AI Prompt engineering and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.

  • Plus: DevOps skills, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

  • Undergraduate degree and 13+ years relevant experience, or graduate degree and 10-12 years relevant experience.
