Job Overview
The Sr. Analyst, Portfolio Data Strategy & Planning plays a critical role in shaping and communicating strategic priorities across the enterprise. This position focuses on building advanced models, conducting complex data analysis, and delivering actionable insights that guide strategic planning and resource allocation. The role involves developing capacity planning frameworks, supporting portfolio health reporting, and executing budget reconciliations to ensure optimal delivery outcomes. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with the ability to communicate insights effectively through executive-level presentations, driving alignment across business and technology teams.
Responsibilities:
Drive preparation of materials for alignment sessions across Business, Product, Technology and Operations, including research, gathering stakeholder input and framing analysis.
Contributes to the development of Capacity Planning ensuring data sources of truth are established to enable model recommendations for labor forecasting and decision making.
Execute portfolio reallocations including oversight of budget transfers and reconciliation to pull through executive decisions.
Perform analysis of portfolio delivery leveraging enterprise data tools (e.g. Jira).
Support technology portfolio health reporting and frame key insights for executive-level presentations and readouts.
Collaborate cross-functionally to prepare and deliver SteerCos and Portfolio Reviews.

Requirements:
3–5 years of experience as a data analyst or internal data strategy role working on strategic engagements, including complex data analysis, research, and executive-level insights.
2-3 years of strong skills in complex data analysis (SQL required and Python preferred) including experience processing and cleaning messy, unstructured data for analysis
1-2 years of experience building comprehensive excel-based models to address executive-level questions (capacity delivery, financial analysis, etc)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Economics or related fields

Advanced analytical and modeling capabilities with strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform quantitative analysis based on macro-level assumptions to derive actionable insights for decisioning.
Strategic thinking and ability to distill complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building capabilities.
Proactive self-starter that rapidly learns the industry, business, data models, databases, and organizational preferences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferences:
Curiosity to solve complex problems in new innovative ways underpinned by data.
Background in data & analytics or technology strategy within a financial services or consulting firm.
Familiarity with KPI development, dashboards, and scenario framing for product and technology leadership teams to inform portfolio management or enterprise planning.
Ability to securely call API endpoints for external and internal data collections
Pay Range:
$78,375-$130,625/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
