Job Summary
Responsible for being an influential business advisor to our advertising organization by leveraging pricing analytics, driving and informing inventory optimization strategies and supporting enterprise initiatives across the advertising organization, as an individual contributor. Works cross-functionally to analyze data, communicate through the team and leadership with actionable recommendations at all levels and implement change appropriately. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as resource and coach for colleagues with less experience.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Analyzes pricing data and advises the advertising organization with simple, actionable insights related to pricing strategies, new implementations of inventory utilization and overall performance against key initiatives.
  • Reviews and advises on pricing analytics to support ad hoc monetization analysis for cross-functional use across Company umbrella, leading with enterprise vision and change.
  • Leverages all inventory tools to help with inventory best practices. Provides feedback on usability and improvements needed to run efficiently and effectively.
  • Analyzes & presents developed yield reporting in support of business initiatives within the specific sales teams supported.
  • Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the pricing and inventory analysts on the team. Interfaces with other department members on special projects or on an as-needed basis to develop trust and reliability.
  • Executes and advises on reporting needs and works cross-functionally to analyze data and make actionable recommendations at all levels.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Requirements:
  • Able to work with large, complex, datasets and provide end users with simplified, targeted, reporting.
  • Analyzes supply and yield KPIs, communicates findings, assesses risks, and makes suggestions to improve performance.
  • Carries out post-launch analyses of products and processes to validate forecast assumptions and identify additional factors associated with changes.
  • Conducts audits of existing products and benchmarks performance with easily understood visuals.
  • Maintains existing monetization reporting and creates new slices to boost actionability of partner teams.
  • Collaborates with Yield, Ad Operations, Product, Sales, Finance and other partner departments to create performance metrics that address specific business needs.
  • Develops reports and visualizations that tell the story behind the measurements of our performance, provides insights and narratives to key stakeholders and recommends actionable strategies for improvement.
  • Understand strategic inventory initiatives and keep up to date with marketplace trends across the competitive landscape.
  • Maintains a hunger to understand the reasons behind performance to budget/forecast.
  • Is always learning and consistently focused on growth and development.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $85,544.52 - $128,316.79
Additional Range: This job can be performed in California, Colorado, Maryland, and New York City with a Pay Range of $71,287.10 - $128,316.79
