The Role
As a Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for leading client progress and maturation across their program while and advising on best practices across resilience functions including: operational resilience, business continuity, crisis & emergency response, disaster recovery, risk, and third-party risk management. In this role, you will work directly with clients to understand their needs, develop strategic recommendations, and support successful delivery of solutions aligned with their objectives. The Senior Advisor plays a critical role in optimizing client programs and driving the adoption of best practices within complex and large-scale implementations.
You will collaborate closely with customer, revenue, and product teams, as a subject matter expert and mentor. You will mentor other advisors and contribute to the continuous improvement of Fusion's products and services.
The Senior Advisor will leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency, problem-solving, and innovation in your daily work as well as enable customers to do the same in the spirit of continuous learning and elevating team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Guidance on Best Practices
  • Serve as a trusted expert to clients, advising on resilience topics that reflects current regulatory and industry environments
  • Tailor approach to client maturity and goals and develop and deliver client specific recommendations on program, processes, and system configuration
  • Ensure adherence to best practices for scalability, sustainability, and industry standards

Project Leadership
  • Advise on the overall approach and strategy for services in large-scale implementations
  • Set strategic objectives and lead or support discovery, alignment, and solution meetings to meet those objectives
  • Create project and program deliverables

Client Relationship Management
  • Build strong, lasting client relationships, acting as a strategic partner to help clients optimize their programs and meet resilience goals.
  • Translate technical capabilities into actionable program use cases, ensuring client understanding and value realization
  • Collaboration and Consultation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align client program goals and expectations into value based delivery activities.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strategic Advisory Skills: Proven expertise in guiding clients toward effective continuity and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Project Management and Leadership: Ability to lead and manage large-scale projects, providing oversight and accountability.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of industry best practices, frameworks, and regulations in at least 2 functional areas within resilience including: Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis & Incident Management, Emergency Response, Operational Resilience, Risk, Third Party Risk Management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Emergency Management, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in consulting or key stakeholder roles in business continuity, resilience, risk, or disaster recovery.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client projects and mentoring junior team members.
  • Advanced understanding of project governance, Statements of Work (SOWs), and continuity planning.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and a willingness to incorporate them into day-to-day work to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Milestones for the First Six Months
In one month, you will:
  • Complete onboarding and gain a thorough understanding of Fusion's approach to business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience.
  • Begin building relationships with key clients and internal team members, understanding client objectives and project scope.
  • Attend client meetings to observe current processes and begin contributing foundational insights on continuity best practices.

In three months, you will:
  • Start independently leading client meetings, identifying client needs, and making preliminary recommendations for continuity and recovery improvements.
  • Contribute to project scoping, SOWs, and strategy sessions, ensuring alignment with best practices and client-specific goals.
  • Mentor junior advisors on continuity concepts and project management, sharing practical knowledge gained through experience.
  • Actively participate in internal discussions on enhancing service delivery standards and best practices within the team.

In six months, you will:
  • Fully manage key client projects, providing expert guidance on advanced business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, offering strategic recommendations that align with their long-term program objectives.
  • Lead team knowledge-sharing sessions, providing insights into emerging trends and innovative practices in continuity and resilience.
  • Develop and refine best practices documentation to support continuous improvement and ensure consistency across client engagements.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000-$175,000, depending on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus. In addition, Fusion offers a comprehensive suite of employee benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.
