Position Summary

Sr. Sales Account Executive, Public Sector is a hunter, selling across Industries in Northeast, USA. This is a remote work from home position which travels to clients. You must be based in Northeast, USA. You will have multi-million-dollar quota with UNCAPPED earnings potential!

You will sell Rimini Street’s (RSI) world-class service offerings. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of sales excellence, ability to meet/exceed quotas, and taking business to next level. Must be hungry and have a passion for winning. We need a hands-on strategic thinker with ability to create long-term sales plans and execute on it takes to building revenue.

The ideal candidate will bring experience selling technology solutions, ERP Solutions (Oracle or SAP is a plus), salesforce (sfdc), or any of the following: application management, database management, managed services, professional services, cloud advisory, global tax - legal & regulatory, integration and interoperability, and other.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Hunter
  • 10+ years of selling experience
  • ERP knowledge
  • SAP/Oracle/Salesforce knowledge
  • Willingness to roll up their sleeves and create a pipeline from zero
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Responsible for building sales pipeline in defined territory
  • Meet/Exceed quarterly quota targets
  • Manage sales cycle from identifying prospects, working with numerous internal teams to coordinate appropriate resources, all the way through closing the deal
  • Manage and follow up on qualified leads
  • Provide and guide prospects strategic vision to drive them toward the RSI solution
  • Execute on RSI sales methodology
  • Update and track all activities in our Salesforce CRM automation tool
  • Implement and utilize current Social and Digital selling strategies to maximize opportunities via Social Networking platforms

Location:  Remote, work from home in Northeast, USA traveling to clients

Travel expectations: Local client travel in Northeast, USA, and corporate functions

Experience

  • 10+ years of overall technology sales experience
  • 5+ years selling ERP software solutions (preferably SAP and/or Oracle), or experience selling salesforce (sfdc), or any of the following technology solutions: application management, database management, managed services, professional services, cloud advisory, global tax - legal & regulatory, integration and interoperability, etc.
  • Held multi-million-dollar quotas
  • Must have competed selling in complex deal situations 
  • Sold enterprise solutions
  • Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement
  • Experience in the lead role in a fast paced, team-oriented collaborative environment in a competitive market

Skills

  • Current relationships and experience selling to CXO level in Northeast, USA
  • Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives, procurement, legal, and line of business representatives
  • Engage prospects with a consultative sales approach
  • Must be articulate with strong writing and presentation skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven experience with Social and Digital selling techniques
  • Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities
  • Very strong work ethic with “can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out” attitude
  • Ability to leverage supporting team of Sales Engineers, Lead Generation, and Marketing, Business Development, and Inside Sales

Education:  Bachelor's degree required

Compensation is based on role, location, and level of applicable experience. 

Rimini’s target pay for each position is available upon request during the applicant’s Interview process.

The general salary range for this type of role is 114k - 150k depending on skills and experience.
