Job Description

We are seeking a Sports Industry Consultant with a strong understanding of data, technology, and sports marketing to help shape the future of sports innovation. This role requires a strategic mindset and deep industry expertise, focusing on product strategy, scoring system architecture, digital engagement, and cloud-based solutions. 

The ideal candidate will have experience working with sports organizations, technology providers, or brand partners, guiding them in the adoption of modern solutions that enhance both athlete performance and fan experiences. While technical expertise is valuable, this role is more about understanding and applying technology rather than hands-on development. 


    Qualifications

    Sports Strategist:

    • Leads and develops cross-functional teams to ensure impactful business outcomes and delivery excellence. Meet regularly with stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction, resolving critical client satisfaction issues. Promptly escalates risks that affect client relationships or trust.
    • Establishes and nurtures collaborative partnerships with client stakeholders including Executives & Key Decision Makers.
    • Develop and execute data-driven strategies for teams, leagues, brands, and rights holders to enhance fan engagement, sponsorship value, and revenue growth.
    • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities for innovation in sports marketing, digital products, and fan experiences.
    • Advise on sponsorship strategy, asset valuation, and partnership activations, helping clients maximize the impact and ROI of their sports investments.
    • Leverage fan and consumer data to create audience segmentation models, optimize marketing campaigns, and improve fan engagement across digital and in-person channels.
    • Guide clients on data rights ownership, governance, and monetization strategies, ensuring they maximize the value of first-party data while navigating regulatory and privacy considerations.
    • Support business development efforts by crafting compelling go-to-market strategies, sponsorship proposals, and strategic recommendations for clients.
    • Work with digital product teams to develop and refine fan-centric platforms, loyalty programs, and interactive experiences that drive engagement and monetization.
    • Provide strategic guidance on emerging trends, such as agentic AI, mixed-reality, sports betting, and new revenue models, to help clients stay ahead of industry shifts.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to present research findings, lead workshops, and develop actionable roadmaps for sports organizations and brand partners.
