Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a motivated Specialist Operator to join the team at Waingaro. You will be someone with a proven track record of delivering a high standard of work in all tasks undertaken. This is an exciting opportunity to join a hardworking and close-knit team.
The ideal candidate will be someone with a wealth of experience under their belt. You’ll need to be an all-round operator with solid earthworks experience as well as strong knowledge of crushing and screening. This person must be dedicated to achieving high levels of productivity while maintaining a strong commitment to Health and Safety standards.

We’re looking for someone who is driven to further their career within this industry.

About the role

As a Quarry Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining a range of quarry plant. You will be responsible for operating fixed crushing plant, in addition to a range of mobile plant such as loaders, excavators, dump trucks, bulldozers, and watercarts. You will have ongoing opportunity to develop your skillset in quarry plant operations.

About you

In addition to previous machinery operation experience, our successful candidate will also have:

  • A Full Class 2 licence

  • WTR is compulsory

  • An experienced and qualified operator

  • Good attitude toward the care and maintenance of machinery

  • Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
