We are hiring a Special Projects Team (SPT) Account Manager.

Nova 401(k) Associates is a vibrant and growing national third party, non-producing administration firm. We have a nationally recognized sales team allowing us to grow continuously and provide career advancement opportunities for our professionals.

The SPT Account Manager will work with clients to complete outstanding prior year administration requirements. This would include compliance testing, Form 5500 filings, and annual valuations.

Job Responsibilities:
•    Maintain a caseload of clients which will be a mix of current clients and new clients with missed prior year annual administration work
•    Consult and guide clients through completion of all prior year work, including: 
•    Monitoring project progress and ensuring all work is completed timely 
•    Assisting and participating in client calls regarding outstanding requirements, timelines, and deliverables 
•    Coordinating with internal teams to efficiently execute corrective actions and bring plans into compliance 
•    Cultivating existing client relationships 
•    Communicating with principals, clients, financial advisors, attorneys, CPAs, and other professionals on plans involved with special project work 

Qualifications: 
•    8-10 years of 401(k) plan administration and consulting experience 
•    Superior knowledge of ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy and 401(a)(4) non-discrimination testing 
•    Superior knowledge of 401(a)4 and controlled group testing; mergers and acquisitions experience 
•    NIPA or ASPPA credential, ERPA a plus 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
•    Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task 
•    Ability to proactively and independently manage a book of business 
•    High level of critical thinking 
•    Committed to lifelong learning and coachable 

 Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary $90,000 - $125,000
  • Salaried, non-exempt
  • Medical, dental, disability, and life insurance
  • Paid time off

Work Location/Hours:

  • Work from home
  • Must work from USA and be authorized to work for any US employer
  • We will supply all necessary computer equipment
  • 37.5-hour work week
