About the Role

We’re seeking a hands-on, execution-focused Solutions Engineer to design, demonstrate, and deliver enterprise solutions on the CommandLink ITSM platform. You’ll bridge the gap between customer requirements and technical execution — from discovery to proof-of-concept — ensuring each solution is both technically sound and aligned to business outcomes.

This role is ideal for engineers who love to own the technical story, translate complex requirements into working configurations, and collaborate closely with sales, product, and implementation teams to bring solutions to life. You’ll design integrations, configure workflows, and ensure customers clearly see how our platform solves their real-world challenges.

What You’ll Do:

Pre-Sales & Solution Design

  • Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, demos, and solution validation for enterprise prospects.
  • Design ITSM, monitoring, and automation solutions tailored to each customer’s environment and SLAs.
  • Build proof-of-concepts and pilot environments that showcase technical feasibility and value realization.
  • Present technical architectures, API integrations, and workflows to both executive and engineering audiences.
  • Collaborate with product and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are fully executable.

Implementation Support

  • Guide customers through initial platform setup, configuration, and integration during the onboarding phase.
  • Configure the CommandLink ITSM platform — services, automation rules, escalation paths, and reports.
  • Integrate with third-party ITSM systems (ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice) using APIs and webhooks.

Customer Enablement & Technical Ownership

  • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Conduct training and enablement sessions to ensure successful adoption.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

Experience

  • 3–5+ years in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting role within a SaaS or ITSM environment.
  • Strong background in ITSM platforms, monitoring/alerting, or workflow automation.
  • Proven ability to lead technical discovery, build demos, and own customer outcomes end-to-end.

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of ITIL processes (incident, change, problem).
  • Familiarity with monitoring concepts, event correlation, and AIOps.
  • Hands-on with APIs, JSON, webhooks, and light scripting (Python or PowerShell preferred).
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems and managing multi-tenant SaaS environments.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Confident working with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Highly organized, with an ownership mindset and ability to manage multiple enterprise projects simultaneously.
