Role OverviewThis role is a Technical Sales Specialist with expertise in SAP output automation solutions to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. This role combines technical proficiency with consultative selling to help enterprise clients optimize their SAP document and output management processes.
Responsibilities- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within the SAP ecosystem
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects in target market segments
- Conduct technical sales presentations and product demonstrations to C-level executives, IT directors, and SAP functional teams
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key enterprise customers
- Collaborate with channel partners and SAP consulting firms to expand market reach
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for SAP output automation solutions
- Serve as the primary technical resource during the sales cycle, providing expert guidance on SAP output management, forms, and document automation
- Assess customer requirements and design tailored solutions using SAP Smart Forms, SAP Output Management, and related technologies
- Conduct technical discovery sessions to understand current SAP landscapes and identify automation opportunities
- Support proof-of-concept implementations and technical evaluations
- Stay current with SAP roadmaps, new releases, and emerging output automation technologies
- Build trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders across IT and business functions
- Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops and solution design sessions
- Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure smooth project transitions
- Provide ongoing technical support during the pre-sales process
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and enhancement priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Working knowledge of Networking, Security, and Automation
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP systems, particularly in output management and document automation
- Deep understanding of SAP technologies including ABAP, Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAP Output Management (SOM), and SAP S/4HANA
- Experience with SAP integration technologies (PI/PO, CPI) and modern API frameworks
- Knowledge of document management systems, enterprise content management, and digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and SAP's cloud strategy (SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, etc.)
