The Solutions Engineering Manager drives the development and architecture of technical products for Altice USA's B2B services, collaborating with various teams to optimize solutions.
Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering, Technical Product Development, the Solutions Engineering Manager, will help define develop, analyze, evolve, and deliver the technical product roadmap and features for Altice USA's B2B products portfolio. This Manager is responsible for driving the technical product development roadmap and engineering architecture solutions and technical product development as it aligns to the B2B and Enterprise products and services roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Help advance new & innovate on new services and capabilities in conjunction with the B2B Product Organization and Technical Product Development
- Execute on and lead Technical Proofs of Concept as it relates to solutions and NGN services
- Conduct Discovery & Whiteboard Sessions to architect, solution and integrate new platforms
- Provide Thought Leadership by delivering Technical Talks and Workshops
- Provide, guide and support Sales Engineering with hands-on help and best practice to drive operational maturity of B2B services and solutions
- Analyze current technology trends and identify Optimization opportunities
- Work closely with Product and Engineering teams, and serve as a key engineering SME and advocate across the Sales, vendor, partner and Industry ecosystem
- Forge strong relationships with key business stakeholders and serve as a dependable partner for them
- Collaborate with Product Management teams to find the right balance between product and network evolution.
- Define and develop network service architecture ensuring robust reliability, performance resiliency, capacity scaling to meet business requirements.
- Lead RFP design, architecture and analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Computer Engineering/Computer Science: MS or MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years' experience successfully managing high profile cross-functional products for major Telecommunication company.
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience in a Managing Engineering or Architecture capacity
- Knowledge of IP Protocols, Access Technologies (FTTH, Cable, FWA)
- Experience with broadband/cable/wireless/security background and heavily regulated B2B environment.
- Telco and Public Cloud.

- Automation and Orchestration.
- Data and Network Cloud security.
- Security architecture and technologies.

- SDN/NFV.
- Datacenter and Service network architecture.
- Extensive experience with engineering and technical architecture for B2B and Enterprise Connectivity solutions
- Proven experience with technical product management and product development
- Analytical thinker who uses data to drive decisions and balances both short- and long-term needs of customers.
- Deep understanding of E2E Systems Integration
- Ability to lead Cross-Functionally across Engineering, Product and Sales verticals.
