Job Summary
Solution Consultants serve as technical subject matter experts to the sales organization and play
a pivotal role in driving revenue growth. Key responsibilities include conducting deep discovery,
building and presenting tailored demonstrations, and designing customer solutions. This role
involves close collaboration with sales, customer success, and product to create solutions that
drive customer success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Deep Discovery: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to uncover client needs
required to create tailored platform builds that address their specific challenges and
objectives.
• Product Demos: Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase the value
and capabilities of Cision’s technology to prospective clients and customers, including
the ability to articulate complex topics or concepts to less technical audiences.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support during pre-sales and post-sales, addressing
client queries and concerns to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
• Solution Design: Work closely with clients to design and implement customized
solutions that leverage Cision’s technology to meet their goals.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including Sales, Product, Marketing, and
Customer Success, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of solutions.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to
drive new business opportunities.
• Market Insights: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide
clients with the most relevant and effective solutions.
Minimum Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6-8 years of experience in SaaS software role will be considered in lieu of degree.
• 2-3 years of Solution Consulting experience
• Discovery skills, presentation skills, API or technical language knowledge.
• Travel up to 15%.
• Understanding of marketing technology (Martech) and digital marketing technologies
and workflows, Coding Skills preferred
