We are seeking a Solutions Consultant who thrives on connecting people with purpose-built technology. This role is remote and requires residence on the East Coast. If you enjoy engaging directly with customers, tailoring solutions to complex needs, and showing how modern technology can make a real difference, this role is a strong match for you.

As a key partner to Sales, Product, and Technical Services, you will help agencies evaluate and adopt Mark43. You will be trusted to guide discovery, lead product demonstrations, and shape solution strategies that address agency challenges and goals.

 How You Will Make an Impact
  • Deliver compelling in-person and virtual demos that clearly show how Mark43 supports police, fire, and emergency services.
  • Adapt technical discussions to different audiences, from command staff to front-line responders.
  • Partner with Account Executives to uncover agency needs and design solutions that address them.
  • Serve as a connector across Sales, Product, and Deployment to ensure accuracy, consistency, and smooth handoffs.
  • Draft clear, accurate responses to RFPs, RFIs, and vendor questionnaires.
  • Confidently explain Mark43’s architecture, integrations, and implementation approach.
  • Capture requirements during discovery and guide integration conversations as prospects move toward deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the evaluation process.
  • Share customer feedback with Product and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
  • Stay current on platform capabilities and upcoming features to ensure alignment with customer needs.
 What You Bring
  • 5+ years in a SaaS presales, solutions consulting, or sales engineering role with significant demo experience.
  • Background working with government or public safety agencies (CAD or RMS knowledge is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Confidence presenting to a variety of stakeholders, from IT leadership to sworn officers.
  • Familiarity with government procurement cycles and experience responding to RFPs and RFIs.
  • Ability to craft persuasive technical content, including proposals and demo narratives.
  • Experience building and leading live product demonstrations.
  • Highly self-directed with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel 50–80% for onsite meetings and demonstrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Safety, or equivalent experience.
