About the team & opportunity

Ontra is currently seeking a Solutions Consultant, reporting to our Senior Vice President of Customer Success, to join our growing Customer Success team.

The role is a great opportunity for a mid-level corporate associate who’s looking to pivot into legal tech. You’ll serve as the go-to expert on our suite of products for customers during the onboarding and implementation phases, ensuring that our customers' needs are thoroughly understood and met, and ultimately, enhancing their experience and confidence in Ontra and our solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Onboarding and Implementation: Support customer onboarding, including leading implementation calls to provide feature adoption guidance and resolve configuration challenges
  • Be the SME: Leveraging your legal background, you will identify common customer pain points in managing private fund compliance, enabling everyone on the Customer Success team to understand how our products help solve these challenges
  • Review and Audit: Monitor our products’ AI-generated outputs and human-in-the-loop quality control team to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to best practices
  • Cross-collaborate: Partner closely with Legal Product Advisors and Sales Engineers on best practices and industry developments

What you’ll bring

  • Experience: 4+ years of transactional legal experience as an attorney or paralegal, preferably in the fund formation group; JD preferred but not required
  • Impeccable Communication Skills: You exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, having experience working with highly sophisticated clients in a customer-facing role
  • Quick Learner: You demonstrate a deep interest and ability to quickly learn new technical concepts relevant to our industry, and can get up-to-speed quickly with new features and products
  • Organized and detail-oriented: You exhibit meticulous attention to specifics while maintaining a structured and systematic approach to tasks and responsibilities

Pay Transparency
Ontra takes individual candidate location, experience, and skills into consideration when determining compensation. The base pay range is listed below. Additionally, all positions are eligible for unit-based equity grants.

Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation, such as commission or other variable compensation structures, which is not included in the below base pay range.
