What you’ll do

The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for expanding accounts within the Insurance Segment by collaborating closely with sales, solutions, and analytics teams. This role will focus on significantly increasing  awareness and driving revenue growth for Equifax's diverse offerings within the insurance market. 

The Solutions Consultant will engage with mid-level State Government accounts and agencies 

(primarily in NSW) to identify and develop opportunities for revenue growth within the Insurance Sector. 

Overall, the Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in supporting Equifax's objective of rapidly expanding its market share within the Insurance sector. 

Key deliverables :

  • Foster relationships with major regional organizations and buying groups, aiming to broaden the reach of Equifax products across all local government authorities in NSW.

  • Develop and implement a market coverage and penetration strategy to identify high priority sales opportunities

  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by upselling and cross-selling to existing customers and proactively prospecting new customers. 

  • Actively pursue new business opportunities for Equifax, with a focus on dedicating 50% of time towards generating new revenue streams. 

  • Manage the sales pipeline for the territory through Salesforce.com, ensuring sufficient opportunity depth to meet quarterly revenue targets

  • Work with Product Development and Analytics teams to incorporate market-based product development requirements

  • Keep key stakeholders informed of significant changes in market dynamics, including those related to major local customers or competitors

  • Consistently scan the market and provide the Sales Management team and Executive Committee with updates on changing consumer behavior, competitive actions, and industry trends. 

  • Identify and lead Equifax's participation in local government industry events where key target customer segments will present, subject to approval from Head of Advisory for resourcing and budget. 

  • Identify potential large Insurance Accounts and build a solid business case for acquiring new business opportunities

What experience do you need 

  • Must have 6+yrs of experience in Data, Insurance and/or Professional Services sectors

  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills

  • A proven ability to prioritize and understand client needs

  • Strong business knowledge and a successful history of creating and implementing effective business solutions

  • Ability to work efficiently across different departments and location

  • Strong experience in Data, Insurance and/or professional Services sectors
