Role Summary:
The Solutions Architect, Customer Connectivity/Enterprise designs and delivers scalable middleware, eCommerce, API, and process automation solutions that improve business outcomes and customer experience for TireHub.
This role will report to the Lead of Technology Products.

Role Specifics:
Architecture & Solution Design
- Defines, maintains, and socializes end-to-end solution architecture for TireHub’s eCommerce and middleware platforms supporting customer connectivity.
- Translates business needs into scalable, secure, and resilient technical solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Communicates architectural designs clearly to engineering teams and business partners.
Business & Technical Collaboration
- Partners with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to elaborate new solutions from concept through delivery.
- Provides hand-on architectural guidance to technical leads and developers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Serves as technical advisor, ensuring solutions meet both business objectives and technical requirements.
Platform Optimization & Modernization
- Identifies and drives remediation of technical debt and structural improvement opportunities.
- Optimize existing technology-enabled business processes to improve performance, reliability, and customer experience.
- Supports continuous improvement through modernization and architectural enhancements.
Integration & Automation
- Designs and implements integration and automation using point-to-point connections and microservices where appropriate.
- Establishes integration patterns and support, enterprise-scale customer connectivity and system interoperability.
- Promote solutions that emphasize reusability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
Architecture Governance & Standards
- Develops and maintains solution lifecycle standards in collaboration with technical leaders.
- Leads architecture and design reviews to ensure alignment with enterprise principles and best practices.
- Ensure consistency and quality across Connectivity Group products and initiatives.
Team & Product Enablement
- Leads and supports technical teams during the launch of new products and projects, establishing strong architectural foundations.
- Mentors’ engineers and technical leads through complex architectural decisions.
- Enables teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently and sustainably.
Training & Compliance
- Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual or computer-based learning modules as assigned.
- Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership, as requested.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience in solutions architecture, software engineering, or enterprise integration roles.
- Prior experience working in enterprise-scale environments supporting eCommerce, middleware, APIs, and system integrations.
- Experience influencing architectural decisions across multiple teams or platforms.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with .NET and .NET Core, including:
- NET Core Web API development,
- Object-Oriented Design, Generics, LINQ, Entity Framework
- Unit testing and test-driven development practices
- Strong experience creating and maintaining solution and architecture artifacts, including diagrams and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with design, prototyping, and diagramming tools.
- Experience in creating technical debt assessments and technical roadmaps for API or integration platforms.
- Strong understanding of API design and lifecycle management, including:
- Versioning and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI or similar)
- Performance tuning, monitoring, and telemetry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
- A valid Driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience required (3 years preferred; Does not include time on learner’s permits).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and common integration patterns.
- Experience with middleware platforms, service buses, and business rule engines.
- Applied experience with process automation platforms, including:
- Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud and Desktop)
- Copilot or AI-assisted automation tools
- Familiarity with modern data platforms, including analytics, transformation, or visualization tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar enterprise ERP/CRM platforms.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams, establishing architectural standards, or supporting design governance.
- Knowledge of leading eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce) and related integration best practices.
Working Conditions:
- This is a fast-paced and dynamic operating environment.
- Majority of time is spent sitting, constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. There may be occasions to move or lift light articles.
- Must be able to work flexible hours during routinely critical times to support the department, including after hours for system changes and emergency situations.
- This role is based in our headquarters office in Dunwoody, GA and requires a strong in-person presence.
- Must be able to travel up to 10% for training, conferences, or other company locations as needed.
