Lead the architecture of enterprise AI transformation for strategic customers. You will connect executive priorities and business processes to secure, scalable architectures spanning agentic AI, applications, data, integration, identity, governance, and operations. Working across account, pursuit, engineering, and delivery teams, you will shape opportunities, establish architectural direction, guide implementation, and ensure that customer investments translate into measurable adoption and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead enterprise AI transformation programs from strategy and architecture through implementation, adoption, and measurable business value realization. 
  • Gather customer and partner insights from a broad range of stakeholders and the business sponsor to shape AI-centric projects and measurable outcomes. 
  • Define solution architecture through architecture descriptions, decision logs, and requirements-and-constraints traceability. 
  • Design secure, scalable AI solutions spanning applications, agents, data, integration, identity, governance, and operations. 
  • Lead cost, technology, and value discussions that explain architecture tradeoffs, deployment implications, and operational requirements. 
  • Translate business objectives into executable delivery strategies, technical roadmaps, and scalable solution architectures while managing risk, resources, and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Build realistically costed solution approaches with traceability across requirements, constraints, decisions, risks, and trade-offs. 
  • Govern proofs of concept and pilots through design, build, deployment, peer review, quality control, and production readiness. 
  • Resolve cross-domain risks and blockers while aligning architecture to delivery scope, staffing, sequencing, and customer value. 
  • Create reusable architecture intellectual property, develop trusted relationships with senior decision makers, and mentor technical teams. 

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., AI Engineering)  
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or technology domain (e.g., AI Engineering)  
    • OR equivalent experience. 
  • 2+ years managing multiple projects or portfolios. 
  • 1+ year(s) experience leading blended, multidisciplinary teams. 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience designing and delivering AI-centric enterprise solutions across applications, data, integration, identity, security, and operations. 
  • Experience guiding proofs of concept or pilots through architecture governance, peer review, and production readiness. 
  • Ability to communicate architecture trade-offs, customer value, cost, and operational implications to technical and business stakeholders. 
  • Technical or Professional Certification in the relevant domain. 
  • Experience designing and implementing Generative AI and agentic AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, agentic frameworks, RAG architectures, and orchestration patterns. 

Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,500 - $214,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $154,500 - $231,700 per year.
