The Role

Join QuickNode as a Solana Technical Writer and shape how developers learn, build, and succeed on one of blockchain's fastest-growing ecosystems. Your content will be featured on our platform, serving thousands of developers worldwide who rely on QuickNode's infrastructure to power their Solana applications. You'll collaborate with engineers, product teams, and ecosystem experts to create technically accurate and comprehensive educational content that makes Solana development more accessible, discoverable, and successful. Whether helping onboard Web2 developers to Solana or providing deep-dive resources for experienced builders, you'll play a crucial role in accelerating developer productivity and success across the entire Solana ecosystem.

What You'll Do
  • Write comprehensive instructional guides covering Web3 fundamentals and Solana-specific technologies

  • Build sample applications that demonstrate real-world implementation patterns

  • Develop and maintain API documentation

  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and ecosystem experts to gather insights and validate technical accuracy

  • Maintain and update existing guides to reflect Solana's rapid ecosystem evolution and feature releases

  • Provide constructive feedback on team members' work, ensuring coherence and high standards across all content

  • Develop and implement internal style guides and writing standards for consistency across technical content

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing, developer documentation, or instructional content creation

  • Proficiency in TypeScript and Rust with ability to write Solana programs using Anchor or natively.

  • Strong knowledge of Web3 fundamentals and blockchain technologies, with specific familiarity with Solana concepts including the account model, instructions and transactions, instruction handlers, PDAs, CPIs, and token extensions.

  • Passion for Solana and its ecosystem, with enthusiasm for staying current with the latest developments

  • Exceptional writing skills with focus on clarity, accuracy, and simplicity

  • Proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into accessible content

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork

  • Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team goals

  • Builder and engineer mindset with focus on implementing efficiencies within content creation processes

  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)

The US base salary range and level for this position are $117,000 - $130,000 per year and level P4. International ranges, in local currency, will be discussed during the hiring process with applicable candidates. This role is eligible for a quarterly bonus tied to company and individual goal achievement. We consider years of experience, level of proficiency in job function, the technical competencies required and location when determining base salary ranges for positions and levels.
