Join us as a Software Quality Engineer 2 - APIM
Our Software Quality Engineering team ensures that our next-generation software is of the highest quality. We conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyses to ensure that our software meets or exceeds end-user requirements. We debug software products, oversee the development of test plans, ensure system tests are documented, analyze the results, provide feedback to developers and make sure that all problems are resolved. We also select testing specifications for new products and ensure testing procedures comply with industry-specific standards.

What you will do
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for develop, revise and maintain test plans, test cases and automated test scripts for on the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment. You will work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings.
You will:
- Be an active member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle
- Contribute to test automation activities by coding and programming in various automation frameworks / languages
- Participate in design, development testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and/or resolution of any issues that may be reported
- Investigate and resolve complex customer issues
What you’ll need to succeed in this role
- 3 to 5 years of overall manual & automation testing experience in a large-scale distributed environment
- 2+ Years of manual and automation experience on testing RESTful Web services API automation using POSTMAN and REST Assured, along with proficiency in testing GraphQL APIs.
- Develop automated tests using JAVA (Selenium) & TestNG. Design efficient & reusable scripts in Selenium to be used across automated tests.
- Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills - including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills; ability to prioritise, influence and persuade, without direct control.
- Knowledge in Defect Lifecycle and Defect Management tools like JIRA, etc.
Additional experience desired
- Background in Computer Science and programming in Java.
- Experience with IDE such as IntelliJ/Eclipse & source control systems & continuous integration tools such as GIT, bitbucket, etc.
- Familiarity with SQL queries, relational database systems, and ORM tools like Hibernate.
Exposure to Jenkins, Maven, Git, CICD tools - Experience using Linux/Unix environments
- Familiarity/exposure to AWS services, Docker, GraphQL, Ansible
- Familiarity with highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems
