Cross-Functional Integration Lead

Role Summary

We are seeking a Cross-Functional Integration Lead for the end-to-end integration design and implementation, delivery, and operational health of the connective tissue across our enterprise ecosystem. This role spans Dynamics 365 (CRM and ERP), the insurance core platform, Databricks-based Customer 360, Customer Insights – CDP, Contact Center, Marketing, payment, partner systems, web and mobile experiences, and emerging agentic AI surfaces.

This is a hands-on engineering leadership role for someone who deeply understands how heterogeneous enterprise systems integrate at scale — APIs, events, data contracts, observability, reconciliation, and resilience.

The successful candidate will define, design the integration reference patterns, govern the integration runtime, partner with Functional and Technical Leads across D365, Data, and AI teams, and establish the rails on which both platform and agentic workflows will operate.

Scope & Ownership

The Cross-Functional Integration Lead is responsible and accountable for:

  • The enterprise integration reference patterns, and standards across D365, the insurance core, Databricks, CDP, Contact Center, Marketing, payment, partner systems, and agentic surfaces.

  • The integration runtime — Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and Power Automate — operated as a shared, governed platform.

  • Integration delivery quality, security, release governance, observability, and production stability across the integration estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the enterprise integration API design standards (REST, async messaging, webhooks)

  • Design and implement the Azure-based integration runtime as a shared platform, including:

  • Azure API Management — gateway policies, product/subscription model, developer portal

  • Azure Service Bus and Event Grid — topics, subscriptions, partitioning, retention

  • Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Power Automate — usage standards by scenario

  • Design and implement the integration lifecycle for external partners, including:

  • Tax and payment ISVs

  • Payment processors and banking partners

  • Insurance ecosystem partners (carriers, reinsurers, distribution, service providers)

  • Contact Center and Marketing platforms

  • Provide governed integration surfaces — REST APIs, MCP servers, Power Platform connectors, and event streams — that enable the AI Engineering Lead's agents to act safely and reliably.

  • Optimize design and development for security, performance, cost of operations, consumption, and scalability

  • Adhere to Microsoft best practices, and IPH design & security standards

  • Collaborate with business SMEs, enterprise architects, and other stakeholders to create detailed designs, and secure approvals from IPH design authority

  • Lead and mentor integrations development team

Required Experience & Skills

  • 12+ years across enterprise software engineering and integration architecture, with 5+ years at Lead / Principal / Architect level.

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including: Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus and Event Grid, Logic Apps and Azure Functions, Application Insights and Log Analytics for observability, Identity and secrets management (Managed Identity, Key Vault, OAuth flows)

  • Proven experience integrating Dynamics 365 (CE and F&O) with insurance core systems, data lakes (Databricks), CDPs, and payment / tax engines.

  • Hands-on experience in integrations discovery, design, and development in global enterprise scale transformation programs

  • Strong API and event-driven design skills – REST, async messaging, webhooks, schema versioning, idempotency.

  • Experience operating integration platforms in regulated environments, preferably in Insurance

  • Demonstrated ability to lead integration delivery across functional, technical, data, and vendor teams.

  • Strong stakeholder communication skills – comfortable translating between business, functional, and engineering audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as an Integration Architect or Integration Lead in insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.

  • Familiarity with insurance core platforms (e.g., EIS Suite or equivalent policy / billing / claims systems).

  • Experience enabling agentic AI or LLM-driven workflows with governed action surfaces (MCP servers, tool-calling APIs, plugin frameworks).

  • Microsoft certifications in Azure (Solutions Architect, DevOps) or integration-adjacent specialties.
