We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead (Fullstack - backend focused) to lead our web application development team. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and technical expertise to guide the team through all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality web applications. The role requires a balance between hands-on development, architecture design, and team management.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and career development support.
- Technical Leadership: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications. Participate in code reviews, and ensure best practices for coding, architecture, and security.
- Project Management: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Agile Process Management: Drive agile processes including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring efficient and collaborative development cycles.
- System Architecture & Design: Lead architectural decisions, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) to maintain code quality and ensure system reliability.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with other teams (DevOps, UX/UI, QA) to deliver full-stack solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and lead initiatives to improve codebase, tooling, and development processes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project development and implementation.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in web application development, with a solid understanding of front-end and back-end technologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in modern web development languages and frameworks (C#, JavaScript).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud platform.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins).
- Proficiency in Git, version control systems, and development workflows.
- Leadership Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in leading and growing technical teams.
- Strong project management skills with experience in agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
