About the role:

Job Type- Internship (Full-time/Part-time)

Duration- 3-4 months

We are seeking a passionate Engineering Intern to join our team!  This internship provides hands-on experience in software development, data engineering, and system architecture within a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.  You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop and enhance our platform with gaining real-world exposure to industry best practices and modern technology stacks.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of healthcare software applications
  • Write clean, maintained, and efficient code under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issuesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, security, and compliance teams.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to healthcare technology.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Ensure adherence to industry security, and regulatory compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA).
  • Document technical processes, workflows, and development progress. 
  • Organize and lead staff training programs on IT systems

Desired skills and experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Python, Java, Javascript, or other programming languages.
  • Understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with web development frameworks, APIs, or cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, or NoSQL) and version control (Git).Strong problem solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Prior internship or project experience in healthcare, machine learning, or cybersecurity is a plus, but not required.
