Role Description: Software Engineering Co-op - Storage
 
Role Purpose: 

Wasabi Technologies is looking for a driven and enthusiastic Co-op student to join our Engineering team for the Fall 2025 term(from June 2025 through December 2025). This is a great opportunity for students currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 

As an Automation Engineering Co-op, you’ll focus on developing unit tests and supporting automation efforts. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers to contribute to the development of reliable, secure, and scalable systems that power Wasabi’s hot cloud storage solutions. A solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and unit testing in Golang is highly preferred.

Requirements:
  • Enrollment in a Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (preferably in Golang or Py testing). 
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). 
  • Familiarity with automation and modern software testing practices. 
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with a strong preference for Go or Python. 
  • Curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. 
  • Ability to work independently with guidance and follow established engineering standards.
