About the Role

SambaNova is hiring a DevOps Engineer for the SambaSuite platform.

We help enterprises and service providers build AI inference platforms powered by our advanced RDU (Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit) architecture. Our cloud-agnostic MLOps platform simplifies infrastructure and enables seamless deployment, management, and scaling of foundation model workloads in production environments.

In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines and supporting infrastructure. You’ll work closely with engineering teams to improve developer workflows, system reliability, and release processes. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of AI infrastructure, enterprise software, and developer productivity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and release infrastructure
  • Support and improve build systems, including Bazel ecosystem components (eg. BuildBuddy)
  • Assist in maintaining and optimizing CircleCI workflows and configurations
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve build, test, and release processes
  • Help manage Python package dependencies and integration within CI/CD pipelines
  • Support artifact management systems such as Google Artifact Registry (GAR) and JFrog
  • Troubleshoot build, pipeline, and infrastructure-related issues
  • Contribute to improving system reliability, scalability, and performance

Required Qualifications

  • DevOps Experience or understanding 
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., CircleCI preferred)
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CircleCI
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
