Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Provide technical leadership and coaching to ramp up developers and make them productive. Participate in pre-project business development activities. Provide technical feasibility analysis, solutions architecture using any architecture drawing tools. Provide milestone, capacity planning, sprint planning, and design of new product. Provide application architecture to ensure optimized cost efficiency, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and staying updated with evolving technologies. Provide technical solutioning in designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud architectures, leveraging deep knowledge of various AWS services to strategically meet client business needs. Provide technical leadership and assume overall accountability for successful implementation phases on all projects. Oversee and manage team members to ensure solutions are properly structured, specified, and developed with design principles, and get the team to have complete unit test coverage and integration testing, performance testing and automation testing to ensure quality. Assist architects with solutions and present the architecture to the architecture review board and get approvals for build. Collaborate with technical leads and developers to ensure team is following all frameworks and complying to architecture best practices. Provide external monitoring protocols and promote improvements in technical operations including building and deployment automation. Lead the development of all travel-based products in the new tech stack on microservice architecture. Ensure robust security measures are implemented across cloud infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and compliance regulations. Manage teams and oversee technical analysis and code reviews, stakeholder communications, delivery of technical trainings, and team development. Lead software development team and interface and collaborate with other product and technology teams to deliver products and features. Monitor team members activities, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers and review all work produced by the development team to ensure codes produced meet company standards. Manage stakeholder interaction and expectations regarding development efforts and delivery of projects and resolve escalated issues. QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Specialist - Cloud Software and Services, Associate Consultant, Associate, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Specialist - Cloud Software and Services, Associate Consultant, Associate, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Participating on pre-project business development activities; Performing technical feasibility analysis, solutions architecture using Lucid or Microsoft Visio using the flowchart created using UML diagrams; C4 model for visualizing software architecture model; providing milestone, capacity planning, sprint planning, and design of new product using Agile methodologies and Jira; application architecture to ensure delivering optimized cost efficiency, and ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions using Lucid and Draw; Utilizing AWS services to provide technical solutioning in designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud architectures on Amazon Web Services (AWS); Design and develop applications in Angular, C#, .NET Core; Test driven development in C# and .NET Core; agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security; building and deployment automation using Terraform scripts in Jenkins; Providing external monitoring using Datadog, Kibana logs and create reports on Grafana board; Leading the development of all travel-based products in the new tech stack which includes Angular using RXJS and Redux for UI, and .NET Core on microservice architecture with Redis Cache, Cassandra DB & Dynamo DB; different kinds of Authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth; Developing Microservices on C#, .NET Core in an environment that deploys as a REST API on a AWS Kubernetes platform; Utilize Kubernetes and pods deployment architecture to analyze and perform requirements on load balancing of applications; Perform code reviews in GIT; Utilizing ELK stack and reporting dashboards for external monitoring and reporting; Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) monitoring tool Dynatrace.
