We’re looking for a Web Experience Engineer to help build and optimize our marketing site, making drata.com a high-converting, high-performing destination. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building new features, optimizing performance, and scaling the marketing website for the next phase of growth. You’ll collaborate closely with teams across marketing to implement modern web features, components, and data tracking that drive results.

What you'll do:
  • Build and maintain scalable UI components using React, Next.js, and Tailwind
  • Support component design, content modeling, and CMS (Contentful) integration
  • Partner with marketing teams on feature launches, testing, and CRO
  • Implement tracking, analytics, SEO enhancements, and accessibility improvements
  • Optimize site performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO, and page load speed
  • Work with Vercel to manage preview environments and deploy new features quickly
  • Run QA, testing, and participate in sprint planning and code reviews
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to enhance component libraries and site infrastructure
What you'll bring:
  • 3-5 years of web development experience, ideally with React & Next.js
  • Fluency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and web performance best practices
  • Experience with headless CMSs and component-based development, Contentful preferred
  • Familiarity with SEO, analytics tagging, and experimentation tools
  • Collaborative mindset and a passion for user-centric, results-driven work
  • Interest in working cross-functionally with marketing, growth, and design

This role will receive a competitive base salary, benefits, and stock, typically in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The applicable salary range for each US-based role is based on where the employee works and is aligned to one of 3 tiers based on the cost of labor for that geographic area. The expected salary ranges for this role are below, subject to change. 

Tier 1: $118,700 - $146,600

Tier 2: $106,800 - $131,900

Tier 3: $95,000 - $117,300
