  • Partner with the Manager and Finance stakeholders to translate budgets, forecasts, unit economics, and business cases into actionable engineering requirements and measurable optimization initiatives.
  • Analyze cloud, platform, and data workloads to identify cost anomalies, inefficient resource use, redundant services, and opportunities to improve workload placement, storage, compute, and data movement.
  • Implement AI- and analytics-enabled solutions that automate repetitive operational work, improve forecasting and anomaly detection, accelerate delivery, and surface recommendations for engineering and financial decision-making.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of scalable, available, secure, and maintainable services using cloud-native patterns, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
  • Work with Architecture, Platform, Data, SRE, and product engineering teams to evaluate cost-efficient design patterns and participate in buy-versus-build-versus-broker and modernization decisions.
  • Create reliable integrations between engineering telemetry, cloud billing data, financial planning inputs, and executive reporting; validate data quality and document definitions, assumptions, and controls.
  • Support capacity planning, cost allocation, tagging, chargeback, and forecasting processes that improve financial accountability and budget accuracy across engineering teams.
  • Develop automated unit and integration tests, troubleshoot production and data-quality issues, and ensure solutions adhere to engineering, security, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders, including the expected business value, implementation tradeoffs, risks, and realized savings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by reducing technical debt, simplifying operational workflows, sharing reusable patterns, and coaching teammates on cost-conscious engineering practices.
  • Stay current on cloud cost-management practices, AI capabilities, data platforms, and engineering productivity tools; prototype and evaluate technologies that can improve operational efficiency.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider-AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI-and working knowledge of cloud billing, resource tagging, usage metrics, or cost-management concepts.
  • LLM/RAG/MCP and Agentic AI
  • Working knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with microservices, containers, and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or OKE.
  • Strong SQL skills and exposure to data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Presto, EMR, PostgreSQL, or Aerospike.
  • Experience building dashboards, automated reporting, data pipelines, or observability solutions using tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, or business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to analyze technical and financial data, quantify tradeoffs, debug scoped issues, and turn findings into practical engineering actions.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with Engineering, Finance, Product, Architecture, Data, Platform, SRE, compliance, and end users.
  • Ability to contribute in a fast-paced agile environment while balancing delivery, reliability, security, cost, and maintainability.

BONUS POINTS:
  • Adtech or Advertising industry experience.
