We are seeking Software Engineers to design, build, and scale our SaaS-based business intelligence platform, Hummingbird PXM. As part of a cross-functional Agile team, these engineers will contribute to both front-end and back-end development, ensuring a robust and scalable application. Ideal candidates are comfortable working across the full stack, supporting front-end and back-end engineering needs.
Responsibilities

Works closely with a cross-functional team to architect, develop, and deliver major features and functionality against the product roadmap

Work collaboratively with product managers, engineering leads, and QA to ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability.

Develop, maintain, and optimize both front-end and back-end components, with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks and java/springboot backend services.

Adheres to software best practices, including coding standards, design patterns, and peer code reviews in an agile environment.

Ensure security compliance and best practices, including secure coding and vulnerability mitigation.

Actively communicates daily progress on a cross-functional team, impediments and helps teammates resolve emergent issues.

Actively participates in building and operating a CI/CD development model

Debug, evaluate, and troubleshoot errors across the entire application lifecycle.
Skills & Requirements
-
5+ years of experience building scalable software systems for SaaS applications.

Expertise in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with strong experience in modern TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks (preferably Angular).

Backend development skills with (preferably Java and Spring Boot).

Experience designing and delivering RESTful and streaming APIs.

Proficiency in database access patterns and design, including NoSQL (MongoDB preferred) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, Snowflake).

Understanding of Agile development practices, version control (Git), peer code reviews, and DRY principles.

Ability to anticipate and mitigate scalability and architecture challenges during feature development.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong problem-solving mindset.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.

Compensation Range: $130K - $170K
