As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
  • Champion quality and testing excellence, leveraging hands-on experience in Quality Engineering and Mobile test automation, while showcasing robust technical skills.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting swiftly to evolving business needs influenced by market demands.
  • Apply expertise in object-oriented design and test frameworks for UI and API, alongside agile development methodologies, with exposure to all facets of the project life cycle.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Possess 5+ years of experience or equivalent proficiency in troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining IT services.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Defect Lifecycle.
  • Proficient in developing test automation scripts using object-oriented programming languages like Java, utilizing Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
  • Skilled in upgrading and creating new reusable test frameworks for API and UI using Cucumber, Selenium, and Java, tailored to functional requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in middleware technologies, messaging queues, and databases.
  • Experienced in using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Expertise in UI, Database, and API testing.
  • Capable of implementing end-to-end automated tests across multiple applications.
  • Experience working within agile teams, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and Jira.
  • Strong working experience with Java, Selenium, and API/REST Services.

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
