As a Software Developer, you'll develop, modify, enhance, and implement software systems designed to support new or existing business initiatives.
WHAT OUR SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS ENJOY MOST

  • Coding and performing unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution and adherence to business and technical requirements
  • Coding, testing, and debugging new billing automation programs or making enhancements to existing programs
  • Writing programs to specifications
  • Collaborating with customers, internal and cross-departmental technical teams to identify software problems and communicate remediation plans
  • Mentors and coaches less experienced staff.
  • Provides technical assistance and advice on existing software solutions.


On a typical day you'll work on billing automation projects with considerable complexity. You'll perform maintenance and provide technical assistance and advice on existing software solutions. You'll excel in this role if you can manage individual tasks and work seamlessly within a team.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Database management system: 3 years or more; coding, testing, and design: 3 years or more; software development methodologies: 3 years or more Education: BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Knowledge of voice, data, video, and wireless technologies; understanding of software design patterns and principles; in-depth knowledge of Information Technology field and computer systems
  • Abilities: Identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance; demonstrated communication skills (written, interpersonal, presentation)
  • Work environment: In-office
