The Social Media Strategist will develop and execute social media strategies, manage content creation, analyze performance, and engage with community across multiple platforms.
The summary above was generated by AI

If you’re the kind of person who sees a trend and immediately thinks “how can I make this work for my client?”, this role is for you. You won’t just be posting content, you’ll be shaping how brands show up, connect, and grow in real time.
We’re hiring a Social Media Strategist who lives and breathes social. You’re equal parts trend whisperer, strategist, and executor, someone who can turn client goals into platform-native content that actually gets attention.

This is a strategy-first, execution-heavy role for someone who can spot a trend on Monday and have it live for three clients by Friday. You know how to read the data, trust your instincts, and pivot quickly to improve performance.

You’ll own the full lifecycle of social: from ideation and content calendars to creative briefs, copywriting, publishing, and community management. You’re not just posting, you’re building brands, driving conversation, and making content that people actually care about.

If you’re someone who loves seeing strategy come to life in real time and knows how to make a feed pop while backing it up with data, this role gives you the ownership and creative freedom to do it.

(Bonus: If you can edit video or design graphics, amazing. But your strategic brain is the real MVP.)

Responsibilities

Own Strategy + Execution

  • Partner with the Director of Organic Social to execute monthly social strategies across a portfolio of clients
  • Own the full content cycle: ideation, content calendars, creative briefs, and copywriting
  • Translate client goals into content that feels native to each platform and audience

Trend & Content Leadership

  • Stay tapped into the social zeitgeist, spot trends early, and adapt them strategically for clients
  • Repurpose long-form content (blogs, videos, etc.) into short-form, engaging social content
  • Continuously bring fresh, relevant ideas to the table

Performance & Optimization

  • Track and analyze performance weekly and monthly
  • Translate data into clear, actionable strategy shifts
  • Identify what’s working, what’s not, and optimize accordingly

Be the Voice of the Brand

  • Manage daily posting and full-scale community management across all platforms
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and mentions with speed, personality, and brand alignment
  • Turn passive audiences into active communities

Bonus Creative Skills (Nice to Have):

  •  Design graphics or edit short-form video content (when needed)

What Success Looks Like

  • The Fun Factor: Within 60 days, client feeds are more engaging, and the community is actively chatting because of your witty and strategic responses.
  • The Growth Spurt: Client social media engagement and community interaction metrics show a steady increase driven by proactive community management and strategic content.

The MVP: You are part of the team that makes Social media a proven, valuable service component that enhances Rankings' credibility and client retention.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in social media (agency or multi-client experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven ability to build and execute month-to-month social strategies
  • Deep understanding of social platforms, trends, and content formats
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across brands
  • Experience with social analytics and performance reporting
  • A proactive, fast-moving mindset—you don’t wait, you test and learn
  • Comfort managing multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities
Bonus (Not Required):
  • Experience working with law firms or within legal marketing/social media
  • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategy
  • Graphic design and/or video editing skills

Benefits
  • Starting Salary $65k
  • Work remotely from home
  • Unlimited PTO
  • $100 Wellness Reimbursement Program
  • 401(k) with 3% Employer match (Safe Harbor)
