Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for supporting the Marketing department and HonorHealth to achieve overall business goals by creating, managing and executing a social media strategy on all platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Twitter. The Social Media Specialist is focused on building our brand and ensuring customer engagement through creating relevant healthcare content, social media advertising, lead generation, customer service and actionable analytics. Writing, graphic design and video production skills are required to be successful in this role. The Social Media Specialist is expected to apply our company culture and operational standards to partner with service line marketing leads and subject matter experts to increase brand awareness and preference, build equity, and inspire advocacy from our employees, physicians, patients and community members. At all times, the Social Media Specialist demonstrates a natural inclination to Go Beyond and to live our values of Innovation, Caring Accountability, Respect and Empathy.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive social media strategy that is consistent with HonorHealth’s brand identity and business goals. Leads the social content calendar in collaboration with the Marketing content/communications manager. Creates meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, utilizing design skills for brand graphics and video editing/production for video-based platforms.
  • Proactively positions HonorHealth by leveraging news content and storytelling to promote the positive actions and behaviors/accomplishments of team members and physicians.
  • Serves as a brand expert, advises on content development, and provides support and advocacy to our employed and affiliated physicians, executives, staff and other business stakeholders across all social media channels.
  • Collaborates with others to support overall brand customer service standards by managing a high volume of daily social media messages. Responsible for managing all social inquiries. Communicates effectively, including responding and escalating concerns in a timely manner.
  • Uses analytical tools to monitor and evaluate HonorHealth’s social media presence and performance. Prepares monthly reports on social media marketing efforts. Suggests recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
  • Regularly meets with stakeholders to enhance/build relationships to understand needs, create a shared understanding of strategies and outcomes and receive feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION
  • Bachelors in in marketing, social media management, digital marketing, communications, media, journalism, or a related discipline. Required

EXPERIENCE
  • 3 years in Social media management experience Required
