Role Overview

The Splendid Marketing team is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and dynamic Social Media & Influencer Marketing Specialist to support the Senior Social Media Manager in the day-to-day execution of our social marketing strategy. This role will be responsible for coordinating influencer marketing campaigns from gifting to partnerships, leading community management, and supporting with broader initiatives including content creation, calendar support, photoshoots, and brand activations.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of social media platforms, influencer trends, and content marketing. You're a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for building relationships through digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

Influencer Projects + Partnerships (50%)

  • Support Social Media Manager with influencer relations, acting as direct brand liaison between brand and brand partners
  • Lead and execute influencer gifting campaigns
  • Oversee and grow the brand’s influencer roster and help develop a revenue-driving brand ambassador program
  • Daily project management of all influencer campaigns and partnership deliverables, regular updates communicated
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships from contract negotiations, communications, creative briefing, content and post approvals
  • Oversee gifting needs including submitting orders, tracking, packing/shipping at our Los Angeles headquarters
  • Able to problem solve, pivot, and regularly collaborate with Social Media Manager to analyze data, brainstorm strategies, and ideate creative solutions
  • Identify new talent for earned/paid opportunities through manual discovery
  • Write and ideate email copy for influencer outreach
  • Create assets, or submit requests for creative assets
  • Organize and manage a digital content library
  • Process invoices and expense reports
  • Budget facilitation on a project level, requesting quotes and negotiating contract details
  • Able to work individually as well as cross-collaborate with external and internal team members on social content calendar and influencer marketing needs
  • Take lead on securing approvals from key internal stakeholders for all brand and partner assets
  • Conduct regular influencer scans, engagement tracking, and weekly/monthly reporting
  • Monitor, track, and report on influencer campaign KPIs
  • Organize & assist with marketing sample organization as needed

Community Management (20-30%)

  • Lead daily community management and audience engagement (like/comment/interact) daily with brand’s social media posts, stories, mentions and comments across active brand channels
  • Daily scanning and reporting of organic and earned social media placements
  • Raise priority customer support inquiries to the customer support team
  • Resolving general customer support inquiries
  • Flag, address, respond to talent and partnership inquiries
  • Additional Social Marketing Support (20-30%)
  • Support execution of content calendar assets, including manual posting
  • Source vendors, place orders, and coordinate deliveries of marketing materials and items
  • Hands-on support for photoshoots. Tasks can include steaming, organizing marketing samples, checking in inventory, organizing shotlist, content creation day-of, overseeing team craft orders, and pulling/sourcing props and marketing samples
  • On location support for social media activations and events. Tasks can include picking up props/materials, creating signage for activations, face-to-face interaction with customers/community during social events.
  • Event coordination support as needed

Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media and influencer marketing or similar role with a track record of collaborating with a team to bring projects to life in the digital space.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations or similar field required
  • Proficient in social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook
  • Understanding of influencer marketing best practices and digital content trends
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Experience with social analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, or similar) a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft, Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva a must
  • A proactive self-starter and ability to adjust quickly when needed
  • Creative thinker, able to regularly brainstorm and contribute fresh ideas
  • Basic understanding of data analytics and reporting
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service experience is great, however not required
  • This a hybrid role, with 2-4 days in our Downtown LA office. Able to travel to the Greater Los Angeles area as needed, reliable source of transportation necessary

PAY RATE: $60,000/yr-$65,000/yr
