BIG PICTURE:

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to launch and run the social media presence of Vertical Dramas, our brand-new division of vertical short-form series. These are brand-new YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok channels starting from zero, and this is the division's first social media hire - they will own strategy, publishing, community engagement, and audience growth from day one, reporting to the Sr Content & Social Manager.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

  • Develop and execute social media strategies across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook specifically for Vertical Dramas.
  • Manage day-to-day publishing, scheduling, optimization, and quality control across social channels.
  • Create compelling captions, hooks, titles, community posts, polls, and promotional copy designed to drive engagement.
  • Partner with creative teams to develop high-performing thumbnails, short-form clips, graphics, and platform-specific content.
  • Monitor social trends, viral formats, memes, sounds, creators, and platform updates to identify opportunities for the brand.
  • Analyze performance metrics including views, watch time, retention, engagement, shares, follower growth, CTR, and conversions.
  • Use performance data to recommend changes to content strategy, creative, posting cadence, and distribution.
  • Develop and execute A/B tests for creative, messaging, titles, thumbnails, hooks, and content formats.
  • Manage social content calendars and coordinate campaigns around new releases, premieres, partnerships, events, and major brand initiatives.
  • Engage with the community through comments, polls, questions, and other interactive formats.
  • Track audience sentiment and surface recurring feedback, requests, and content opportunities to internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Content, Creative, Production, Marketing, Partnerships, and Talent teams.
  • Develop strategies to increase followers/subscribers, engagement, reach, and repeat viewership across platforms.
  • Monitor competitors, creators, and entertainment brands to identify emerging best practices and whitespace opportunities.
  • Prepare regular performance reports highlighting key wins, learnings, trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice while adapting content and messaging to the unique audience and culture of each platform.

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Experience with Vertical Drama content is required.
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for a media, entertainment, creator, consumer, or digital-first brand.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow social audiences and improve content performance.
  • Excellent copywriting skills with a strong instinct for hooks, storytelling, titles, and attention-grabbing social copy.
  • Highly knowledgeable about internet culture, Gen Z trends, creators, and rapidly changing social behaviors.
  • Comfortable interpreting social analytics and turning data into clear creative and strategic decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple platforms, campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Experience working with creators, talent, or entertainment IP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social publishing, analytics, project management, and content management tools.
  • A strong creative instinct paired with a test-and-learn, performance-driven mindset.

The Social Media Coordinator will report directly to the Sr Content & Social Manager

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

Our Social Media Coordinator will work remotely from home or personal office and will be required to utilize Dhar Mann Studios time tracking software to log and submit work hours

WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:

The typical work schedule is 40 hours a week, specific times will be discussed during the interview
