What You Will Do:

  • Help design new software features and solution with peers.
  • Assist with the upgrading of infrastructure software and the deployment of new software, including building, deploying, and supporting software created.
  • Write and execute tests for software and systems that the team develops, including unit tests and end-to-end tests.
  • Make code fixes and adjust the software that is owned and operated by the team, generally in response to bugs, errors, and live incidents.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered or related role.
  • Must have three (3) years of experience with: managing Linux-based systems in a public cloud; and enterprise systems monitoring.
  • Must have three (3) years of software engineering experience using object-oriented languages.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience with: delivering hosted cloud services; Kubernetes; and containers on Linux.
  • Must have experience with: troubleshooting systems issues; and standard TCP/IP networking and common protocols.

The salary range for this position is $109,262 - $151,170. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
