We’re seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to help build and maintain the reliable, scalable infrastructure that powers AbsenceSoft’s applications. In this role, you’ll ensure system performance, stability, and resilience across our cloud environments. You’ll lead monitoring, incident response, automation, and continuous improvement efforts while partnering with development teams to enhance reliability, security, and scalability.



What you'll do

  • Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem documentation.
  • Build automation to support deployments, scaling, and reliability.
  • Partner with development teams to improve system performance and resiliency.
  • Manage infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Improve and enforce SRE best practices across the organization.
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while maintaining company controls and security.
  • Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring

  • Proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong skills in scripting or programming languages (Python, Go, Bash, or similar).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix system administration.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
  • 2–4 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance practices in cloud environments.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Compensation Transparency. Compensation range for this position is $95,575 - $119k annually, depending on experience and location.
